Vocational Education & Training (VET)
Students in the Senior School (Year 10 – 12) select from an extensive list of academic subjects to complete the SACE.
Students interested in a vocational pathway may choose to combine academic subjects with VET options to complete their SACE and/or progress their career aspirations.
Banksia Park International High School is proud to partner with Flinders University to offer a guaranteed pathway (subject to the entry requirements being met) to university for our students. This direct entry opportunity combines Vocational Education and Training (VET) with school-based subjects and provides a clear and supported transition from school to university.
To be eligible, students must successfully;
- Complete the South Australian Certificate of Education (SACE)
- Complete the required Certificate II or III course
- Complete the specified Stage 2 subjects (as detailed within) at a C+ grade or higher.
- Meet any course specific entry requirements as listed on the relevant course webpage (e.g. pre-requisites, audition, portfolio, etc).

North East Vocational Opportunities (NEVO)
Banksia Park International High School is part of the NEVO partnership, which is made up of a number of schools from the north eastern suburbs, which provide a wide range of VET for students. Students from BPIHS can enrol in a VET course offered through another NEVO school. Students are enrolled at Banksia Park International High School but attend a host school or registered training organisation to complete a VET course of their choice.
