What I enjoyed most at Banksia Park International High School was the excursion camp with the Outdoor Education class. I had the opportunity to try new experiences and at the same time create better relationship with my friend. However, it was a really good way to explore new places and activities in Australia. I was surprised about the variety of subjects at the school, which allows the students to specialise in the subjects they prefer. And participating in Clubs, which helped to create new friendships.
Teachers were very helpful, really understanding and available to answer all my questions.
What I enjoyed most at Banksia Park International High School was the variety of practical lessons which I have never learned in Japan: Photography, Café Skills, Design, Society & Culture. In my home country, I can learn just academic things.
Teachers were very caring and helpful. Although Japanese names can be difficult to pronounce for most, everyone tried to utter correctly and memorised my name and face.

Yesterday’s Food Tour excursion took Ms Wotton's class to Taralli Biscuits, Panini Brothers and Gelato Bello to learn more about the importance of buying local produce and supporting local businesses 🥖🍪🍨

What an incredible experience for our netballers in Queensland! 🐻💙
After several days of tough competition against strong opposition, our High Performance Team finished an impressive 6th, while our Development Team finished 10th, showing fantastic growth and determination throughout the carnival. Our students embraced the challenges of interstate competition, long days and demanding schedules, demonstrating resilience, teamwork, commitment and pride while creating some wonderful memories along the way.

While looking out for one another is important every day, R U OK? Week gives us an opportunity to shine an extra spotlight on connection, conversation and checking in with those around us.
There’ll be plenty happening across the week:
🪨 Tuesday – Student Life: R U OK? lesson, plus keep an eye out for our R U OK? rocks! Find others with rocks, start a conversation and you could win a prize.
🍫 Wellbeing Wednesday – KitKat Chats: Join us on the Admin Lawns for a lunchtime filled with KitKat chats, a photo booth, music, bubbles and picnic rugs.
💛 Thursday – Student Life: A special student-led R U OK? assembly, reminding us of the importance of looking out for our mates and starting meaningful conversations.
