Banksia Park International High School
Governance
The Banksia Park International High School Governing Council is a group of committed parents, staff, students and community members who work in partnership to ensure effective governance and management and supports the vision of the school in educating students for global futures. The governing council recognises the academic, sporting and personal achievements of students and plays a pivotal role in school policy, strategic direction and financial management within the school. The governing council operates within the guidelines and conditions outlined in the South Australian Association of State School Organisations (SAASSO) Handbook and a locally developed education plan. The governing council oversees several committees including finance, uniform and canteen. The governing council meets a minimum of twice per term.
