Banksia Park International High School was founded in 1973. The school is a metropolitan secondary school catering for over 860 students from years 7 to 12. The school is superbly located in picturesque grounds in the north-east of Adelaide, South Australia, approximately 20 kilometres from the city centre.

Banksia Park International High School’s unique location means the school is close to a wide range of resources which we use to enhance student learning. The school is in close proximity to local museums, art galleries, Waterworld Aquatic Centre, recreation centres and parks, Tea Tree Gully public library, Tea Tree Gully TAFE and one of South Australia’s major shopping centres, Tea Tree Plaza.

The school is well served by an efficient transport system. The Adelaide city centre is only 20 minutes away via the O’Bahn bus route. The school therefore has quick access to the city centre and this gives our students access to another range of experiences.
